Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the snagz website and mobile applications (together, the "Service"), operated by the snagz team ("snagz", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What snagz is

snagz hosts scheduled "drops" of physical products sold through a declining-price format (a reverse auction). Each product starts at a listed retail price and its price decreases by a fixed step at fixed time intervals until it reaches a floor price or until a member commits to buy by completing the hold-to-buy action. The first member to complete the hold buys the item at the price shown at the moment the hold completes. This is a fixed, deterministic pricing schedule — there is no element of chance, no bidding against payments, and no wagering.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region, whichever is higher) to use the Service, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a membership or products.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping your device secure. One account per person.
• You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → "delete my account") or by contacting us. Deletion is permanent: your profile, saved addresses, and win history are removed, and any active membership is canceled (see §4).

3. Watching vs. snagging

Anyone with an account may watch live drops. Committing to buy ("snagging") requires an active snagz club membership (§4). Prices, steps, floors, tick intervals, and drop schedules are shown in the product view before and during each auction.

4. Membership (snagz club)

• The snagz club is an auto-renewing membership (weekly or monthly) that unlocks the ability to purchase physical products in drops. Current pricing is always shown before you subscribe.
• Payment is processed by Stripe on the web. Your membership renews automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Profile → club status → "manage" (Stripe customer portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• If a free trial is offered, you will be told its length and the price after the trial before you start it. You can cancel during the trial and pay nothing. Free trials are limited to one per person.
• Membership fees are non-refundable for partial billing periods except where required by law.

5. Buying products, payment, shipping

• Completing the hold-to-buy action forms a binding commitment to purchase the item at the shown price. Payment is collected afterwards via Stripe checkout; the item ships to the address you provide.
• All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and any shipping fees are shown at checkout.
• If you do not complete payment for a won item within 7 days, we may cancel the win and re-list the item.
• Shipping: we ship to the address you confirm at checkout. Delivery estimates are provided at or after checkout and are estimates, not guarantees.
• Returns & refunds: unworn/unused items in original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price (return shipping paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect). Damaged, incorrect, or lost orders will be refunded or replaced at no cost — contact support. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

6. Conduct

You agree not to: use bots, scripts, or automation to watch or snag; interfere with the Service or other users; create accounts with offensive handles; resell access; or use the Service for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, with pro-rated refunds of prepaid membership only where legally required.

7. Content & license

The Service, including product imagery, branding, and software, is owned by snagz or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the apps for their intended purpose. Handles you choose and content you submit must not infringe others' rights.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by notice on this page at least 7 days before they take effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance. We may change drop schedules, pricing rules, and membership pricing prospectively — never for an auction already in progress or a period already paid.

10. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply. Questions: see support or email mosh@neocore.co.
